Hello and welcome to a very interesting DIY tutorial for this staircase-like hidey house for small pets. I saw a natural, wooden hidey house resembling this the other day, and I thought it would be pretty fun to DIY!

I did change the design slightly from the original toy I saw, adding a shelf inside leading to an upper door. I’m including the measurements to make this toy for all hamster species, gerbils, and mice.

Hello and welcome to another DIY tutorial! This week I’m showing you how to make a cute platform and ‘underground’ nest from a small plastic goat cheese tub. I’ve been saving this tub for about a week, brainstorming what I wanted to make with it, until today when I purchased a pack of coffee stirrers. I thought they’d be handy since they’re basically long, skinny popsicle sticks, and I realized they’d be perfect for this project.

Welcome to the October Cage Makeover of 2020! As shown above, Beanie‘s cage is dwindling from interest, and definitely needs a clean and makeover.

In her current setup she has some toys, such as her wheel, duck basket, hide’n’climbing toy, bendy bridge, chew block, a little tin bucket, basket hut, luxury house, foraging toy, rock, and water bowl.

I will have the bold items in this setup and the new setup linked at the end of this post, if you’re interested in recreating or learning about them 🙂

Welcome to this DIY tutorial! These cylindrical, barred toys are most often used for hamsters and rabbits, but is also suitable for gerbils, mice, rats, and other little pets. You can put wooden beads, treats, or food inside and your pet will have to chew and fling to get the prize from the toy. It’s very mentally stimulating and helps wear down your pet’s teeth.
